THOUGHTS FROM THE OFFICE
Every year at this time, I take a few moments to reflect on the previous year's events and see what word comes up for me to describe the year and what I can do with that observation moving forward.
And this year, the word that comes up loud and clearGRATITUDE!
As all companies and people do, we faced a few bumps in our road last year, but through it all, we were constantly reminded of the gifts that we were given as we navigated the bumpy terrain. And, interestingly, those bumps became visions. Those bumps became wisdom. Those bumps became passion.
But most important, those bumps became gratitude. A level of gratitude that we are excited to take with us into the new year!
I am grateful for our work family and how well we all work together and I look forward to a year based on gratitude and compassion to best serve our customers.
TONY'S CORNER
Winter is in full swing in our service area and with snow and ice come some hazards and issues specific to water heaters that I want to share with you!
When there is accumulated snow, it could block the fresh air or exhaust vents of the water heater. If this happens, you could experience a loss of hot water due to the plugged vent and, most important, it could be a life safety issue with a backup of carbon monoxide into your house. So, always make sure you have a Carbon Monoxide Sensor with fresh batteries in your machine room. And make sure you clean the snow off of your vents.
As always, if your water heater needs attention, let us know! As I like to say...
"Breathe easy. When you call Hot Water 911, help is on the way!"
If you have water heater related questions, I am always up for a conversation. You can reach me on my cell at 815-404-7083 or email me at tony@hotwater911.com
